The Adult Education Department of Colaiste Chiaráin has been an integral part of our community since it was established in 1982. We offer an extensive range of adult education courses and classes, all at competitive prices.
Coláiste Chiaráin is committed to promoting educational opportunities and qualifications for adults in the form of further and continuing education and especially second chance education for those who have not benefited from their original schooling. All evening classes and courses are constantly monitored to ensure they are relevant and contemporary, and the curriculum is tailored to the needs of the students.

We are always seeking new classes to host so please contact us if you have a suggestion to make.

CHILDHOOD LEVELS 5&6

Early Childhood care and Education level 6 classes take place on Saturdays. This course is aimed at superiors or those wishing to move into a supervisory role in a childcare setting.
Early Childhood care and Education level 5 classes take place every Tuesday and Thursday. This course is aimed at childcare workers or those considering setting up childcare facilities.

QQI AWARDS

In the area of qualifications, QQI are responsible for maintaining the ten-level NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications). QQI are also an awarding body and set standards for awards we make in the NFQ, please CLICK HERE
